Stewed Apples by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Butter 1/4 cup
  • Apples 4 large
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • Cold water 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Melt sugar, put peeled and unseeded apples and cook it for 6-7 minutes until apples are soft.
  2. Stir it continuously.
  3. Dissolve corn flour in cold water and add in apples pan.
  4. Then put brown sugar and ground cinnamon, boil more for 2 minutes and stir it continuously.
  5. Then remove from stove and serve with vanilla ice cream.
  6. You can serve it vanilla custard or roll in sweet crepes.
