Ingredients:
- All purpose flour 500 gm
- Yeast 1-1/2 tbsp
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Egg 1
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Put yeast and salt in lukewarm water and mix it until sugar and yeast is mixed well.
- Then leave it for rise.
- When it rises, add all purpose flour.
- Then add salt, egg and baking powder and knead it.
- Then put in mixing bowl, cover with plastic and leave on warm place for 3-4 hours.
- Now fold dough with hands.
- Make small small portions and roll like thick roti.
- Now grease oven tray with oil, set roti on tray and bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 10 minutes and take out from oven.
- Pita bread is ready.
