Kashmiri Gustaba Masala Mix by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Chicken with bone 500 gm
  • Yogurt 500 gm
  • Onion slice 2
  • Almonds, Coconut 1 cup
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri masala 2-3 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put yogurt in mixing bowl, beat it, add1/2 glass water and Kashmiri masala and mix it.
  2. Now boil almonds and coconut, peel almonds and keep it aside.
  3. Brown onion slices and grind it.
  4. Then roast garlic paste in pan.
  5. Now add chicken, fennel seeds and water as required and make stock.
  6. Add oil in second pan, add masala yogurt and cook it.
  7. Then add almonds and coconut and mix it.
  8. Then strain chicken, keep separate, put in stock mixture and cook it.
  9. Now add grinded onion and chicken, mix it and cook more.
  10. Then dish out it and serve.
