Chicken Ka Badami Korma by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg
- Chopped onions 4
- Small cardamoms 8
- Chopped almonds 10
- Ghee 1 cup
- Yogurt 1 cup
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Black cumin 1 tsp
- Chopped ginger garlic 1 tbsp
- Red chili 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 2 tbsp
- Poppy seeds 1/2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix chicken, yogurt, chopped ginger garlic, red chili, coriander powder, salt and all spice powder in one big bowl and keep it.
- Heat ghee in pot, brown chopped onions, take out half onion and spread on paper.
- When crisp, crush with hands and mix in meat.
- Then put masala meat in pot, cover it and cook on low flame.
- When water of meat dries, roast it lightly, add 2 cup water until meat tender.
- When ghee comes up, grind chopped almonds, poppy seeds, black cumin and small cardamoms, add it and keep on simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with roghni naan.
