Garam Masala Rice by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Sela rice 300 gm
  • Chopped garlic 4-5 cloves
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Onion 1-2
  • Whole spice as required
  • Stock as required
  • Kewra essence few drops
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Clean rice, wash it and soak for 2 hours.
  2. Now heat oil in pan and roast whole spice.
  3. Then fry chopped garlic and onion.
  4. Now add yogurt and roast it.
  5. Then add stock.
  6. When it boils, add rice and boil it.
  7. When rice boils, add yellow food color and kewra essence and simmer it.
  8. Then dish it out and serve.
