Chutney Chicken Biryani by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg
- Yogurt 1-1/2 cup
- Salt 1-1/2 tsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp
- Brown onion 1 cup
- Whole spices 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Rice 1/2 kg
- Oil 3/4 cup
For Chutney:
- Coriander leaves 1 bunch
- Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
- Onion 1
- Green chilies 30
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Cumin 1-1/2 tbsp
- Desiccated coconut 1/2 cup
Method:
- For chutney: Put all ingredients in grinder, grind it and keep it aside.
- Now heat oil and put whole spices.
- Now add brown onion and ginger garlic paste and fry it nicely.
- Now put chutney, chicken, salt and turmeric and fry it nicely.
- Then add yogurt, cover it and cook until chicken is ready.
- For assemble biryani: Spread half rice in pan base.
- Put chutney chicken mixture.
- Then put remaining rice, cover it and keep on simmer.
- Serve with raita.
