Ingredients:

  • Apples 1/2 kg
  • White vinegar 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Red chilies 10-12
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Lemons 2

Method:

  1. Peel apples and cut it like chips.
  2. Now put apples, white vinegar, sugar, red chilies, onion seeds and chopped ginger and cook it.
  3. When sugar dissolves, saib ki chutney is ready.
  4. Then cool it, add lemon juice and put in jar.

  • I made this apple chutney . The quantity of vinegar is 1/2 cup , a mis print in ingredients. But use about 1 or 2 Tbsp less than 1/2 cup. I used only 2 button chillies. The recipe is good in taste, just like meethi mango chutney. Also it has ginger so its good for digestion also.
