Ingredients:
- Semolina 375 Grams
- Yogurt 250 Grams
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Ground mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Yellow food color a pinch
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Oil as required
- Salt to taste
For Bhagar:
- Curry leaves 8-10
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Whole red chilies 4-5
- Ghee 2 tbsp
- Fresh coriander for garnishing
Method:
- Mix all ingredients except oil in mixing bowl well until soft.
- Now keep this mixture for whole night and beat it nicely before making idle.
- Then take mould of idle and spread oil in its bowl.
- Now keep coriander leaves in bowls and pour mixture.
- Then put in pot, steam it for 10-15 minutes, take it out and turn in deep plate. Idle is ready.
- For Bhagar: Heat ghee in karahi pan and roast curry leaves, whole red chilies and mustard seeds.
- Put bhagar in idle immediately and serve hot.
