Ingredients:

  • Semolina 2-1/2 cup
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Whole red chilies 4-5
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 10-15
  • Whole cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot, put curry leaves, salt, green chilies, whole cumin and mustard seeds and cook until fragrance of curry leaves comes.
  2. Then put semolina, mix it and roast it.
  3. Now put water, mix it nicely and keep on simmer.
  4. For bhagar: Put oil in pan, put curry leaves, whole red chilies, mustard seeds and cumin and make bhagar.
  5. Now put upma in serving dish, put bhagar and serve.
