Murgh Taka Tak by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken mince 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion 1 cup
  • Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 4
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Hard boiled eggs 2-3
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Tomato puree 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  • Mint leaves 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put cumin seeds, onion, crushed garlic and ginger and fry for 5 minutes.
  2. Now put chicken mince. Also put tomato slice, green chilies, chili powder, salt and all spice powder, cover it and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Then add hard boiled eggs and make taka tak with 2 spoons.
  4. Then put all spice powder, tomato puree, coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  5. Then add lemon juice and serve with naan.
