Ingredients:

  • Yellow lentil 1 cup
  • Chopped onions 2
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped garlic 4 cloves
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 4
  • Cinnamon 2
  • Cloves 4
  • Green chilies 3
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Chopped mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Chopped green chilies 3
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Butter 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot, fry chopped onions until golden brown, take it out and spread it.
  2. Now put chopped garlic in oil and golden brown it. Then put ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili, black pepper, cinnamon and cloves and roast it lightly.
  3. Then add 2 cup hot water, salt and green chilies, stir it and cover it. Do flame low.
  4. When water dries, keep on simmer on tawa.
  5. Then put few chopped mint leaves, few chopped ginger, chopped green chilies and butter.
  6. When it comes on simmer completely, daal is ready.
  7. While serving, put fried onion, chopped mint leaves, chopped green chilies and chopped ginger on dish.
