Ingredients:

  • Beef pasanday 1/2 kg
  • Raw papaya paste 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Degi red chilies 4
  • Roasted black gram 2 tbsp
  • Small cardamom 6
  • Black pepper 6
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Lemons 2
  • Mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Chopped onions 4
  • Salt to taste
  • Tandoori masala 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Green chilies few

Method:

  1. Put degi red chilies in some water with vinegar, boil it, take it out and grind it.
  2. Now mash beef pasanday and marinate with raw papaya paste and salt.
  3. Then mix roasted black gram, white cumin, black cumin, poppy seeds and black pepper, grind it and mix in pasanday.
  4. Mix tandoori masala, degi chilies, yogurt and lemon juice and leave for a while.
  5. Heat oil in pot, fry onion until golden brown and take out half onion. Put masala pasanday in half onion, mix it nicely and cover it.
  6. When water dries, roast pasanday and add 1 lemon juice. Also put mint leaves and green chilies and keep on simmer for 5 minutes. Put fried onion while serving.
