Ingredients:

  • Chicken pieces 1/2 kg
  • Gram lentil 1 cup
  • Whole red chilies 8
  • Black peppercorn 6
  • Big cardamom 2
  • Cinnamon a piece
  • Garlic 4
  • Ginger a small piece
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Chopped green coriander 1 bunch
  • Chopped mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped ginger 1
  • Egg whites 2
  • Corn flour or Rice flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil to fry

Method:

  1. Wash chicken pieces and put in pot.
  2. Also add gram lentil, garlic, ginger, big cardamom, black peppercorn, whole red chilies, salt, coriander seeds, white cumin and 2 to 2-1/2 cup hot water and cook it.
  3. When lentil and meat tender, add yogurt.
  4. When water dries, grind in chopper.
  5. Then put chopped green coriander, chopped mint leaves, chopped green chilies, chopped onion, chopped ginger, corn flour or rice flour and egg whites and mix it nicely.
  6. Now grease hands, make kabab, heat oil in frying pan and fry kabab. When golden brown, take it out and serve hot.
