Zafrani Halwa by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Semolina 250 grams
  • Elettaria cardamom 3-4
  • Saffron a pinch
  • Yellow food color 1/3 tsp
  • Sugar as required
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Pistachio and Almond as required
  • Kewra essence dew drops
  • Silver leaf as required

Method:

  1. Roast semolina in pot.
  2. Put ghee, cardamom, sugar, almond, pistachio and yellow food color, mix well until all ingredients are mixed.
  3. Add saffron and kewra essence.
  4. When ghee comes up, take out in dish, garnish with silver leaf and serve.
