Piaz Lay Lacchay Dar Pakoray by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Onion 2-3
  • Dry chickpea flour to sprinkle

For Batter:

  • Chickpea flour 1 cup
  • Cumin whole 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Baking powder 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Cut onion in lacchay. Separate each lacchay.
  2. Now sprinkle dry flour on lacchay and coat it.
  3. For batter: Mix all ingredients and make smooth batter.
  4. Now dip coated onion lacchay in batter and deep fry it until golden and crisp.
  5. Then serve with chutney.
