Ingredients:

For Dough:

  • Flour 1
  • Ghee 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 tbsp
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Carom seeds 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

For Filling:

  • Potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Green chilies 6-7
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Coriander chopped 1/2 bunch
  • Ginger crushed 1 inch
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves few
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients in flour, put some water and knead it. Dough should be hard.
  2. Now make portions. Then cover with cloth and keep it aside.
  3. For filling: Put mustard seeds in pan and heat it.
  4. Then put some oil, add onion and roast it.
  5. Then add boiled potatoes, salt, turmeric, ginger and green chilies and knead it nicely.
  6. Now close stove, put curry leaves and chopped coriander.
  7. For assemble: Roll dough in long and cut in cross.
  8. Now give shape of cone and fill potato mixture.
  9. Then close with water. Do this method with all portions.
  10. Now heat oil in karahi pan, deep fry it until golden brown.
  11. Serve with chutney.
