Ingredients:
- White split gram 250 gm
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda 1/3 tsp
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
For Masala:
- Whole red chili 5-6
- Whole black pepper 1 tsp
- Whole cumin seeds 1 tbsp
- Black salt 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
For Green Chutney:
- Tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves 1 bunch
- Green chili 5-6
- Salt to taste
For Garnish:
- Yogurt 1/2 kg
- Chickpeas 1 cup
- Chaat masala 1 tsp
- Ketchup as required
- Papri as required
- Cabbage slice 1/2
Method:
- Put baking soda in white lentil and soak overnight.
- Then put in grinder and grind it.
- Now put garlic paste, cumin powder and salt and mix it nicely.
- Heat oil in pan and grease hands with oil.
- Fry paste like pakoray and keep in one plate.
- For masala: Add all ingredients in grinder and grind it. Masala is ready.
- For green chutney: Put all ingredients in grinder and grind it. Green chutney is ready.
- Now put yogurt in deep dish, put water and beat it nicely.
- Now put chickpeas. Put remaining yogurt on top.
- Put ketchup and green chutney.
- Put papri and cabbage slice and garnish with masala.
- Sprinkle chaat masala.
