Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour 1-1/2 cup
  • Mango puree 1 cup
  • Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Water to make batter
  • Ghee for frying
  • Soda water 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Put wheat flour, mango puree, green cardamom powder, yellow color, sugar and fennel seeds in bowl, beat it nicely, cover it and leave it for a while.
  2. Before frying, add soda water. Batter should be thick and like paste. Beat it nicely.
  3. Then deep fry gulgulay in ghee.
  4. Now put in karahi with hands.
