Saffron Milk by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Milk 5 cups
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Saffron few
- Green cardamoms 4
To Garnish:
- Pistachios as required
- Almonds as required
- Green cardamom as required
Method:
- Put milk in pan and bring to boil.
- Simmer over low heat, stirring few times till it thickens (about 1/3 should be evaporated, at least).
- Add sugar, saffron and cardamom powder.
- Stir till the sugar is dissolved and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with green cardamoms, pistachios and almonds.
