Bean Chaat by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

For Chaat:

  • Red kidney beans 1 cup
  • Chickpeas 1 cup
  • Chowli beans 1 cup
  • Green beans 1 cup
  • Potatoes 1 cup
  • Onions 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes 1/2 cup
  • Cucumbers 1/2 cup

For Dressing:

  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Chopped coriander 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, chaat masala, salt, pepper, chopped coriander to make a dressing.
  2. Mix kidney beans, chickpeas, chowli beans and green beans into dressing.
  3. Then add chopped potatoes, onion, tomatoes, and cucumber.
  4. Mix it well and let soak dressing in fridge for approx 1 hour.
  5. Serve chilled.
