Shahjahani Korma by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg or 12 pieces
- Ghee 1 cup
- Yogurt 1-1/2 cup
- Salt 1-1/2 tsp
- Chili powder 3 tsp
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp
- Almonds 20 blanched and grinded
- Brown onion grinded 1/2 cup
- Whole spices mixed 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp leveled
- Ginger julienne 1 tbsp
- Nutmeg grinded 1/4 tsp
- Mace grinded 1/4 tsp
- Kewra water 1 tbsp
- All spice 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Heat ghee, put mixed whole spices, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, yogurt and chicken and fry well.
- Also add 1 cup water, cover it and cook till approx ready.
- Then put brown onion, grinded almonds, ginger julienne, nutmeg, mace with 1/2 cup water, cover it and cook till done.
- In end put all spice.
