Rabri Kheer by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Milk 2 kg
  • Rice 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Condensed milk 1/2 tin
  • Arq-e-gulab 1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Rabri 250 gm
  • Pistachio sliced 2 tbsp
  • Silver paper for garnish

Method:

  1. Boil milk for 30 minutes.
  2. Now put soaked and crushed rice and cook until rice tender.
  3. Now add sugar and cook more for 15 minutes until kheer is thick.
  4. Put cardamom powder, arq-e-gulab and condensed milk, cook for 5 minutes and remove.
  5. When kheer comes to room temperature, fold hot rabri
  6. Garnish with silver paper and pistachio sliced and serve.
