Ingredients:

  • Bread slices 8-10
  • Evaporated milk 1 tin
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • Dry apricot 10
  • Almonds 10-12
  • Orange marmalade 2 tbsp
  • Small cardamom 4
  • Oil as required
  • Silver paper for garnishing

Method:

  1. Cut bread slices into 2 or 4 pieces each.
  2. Now take out almonds from dry apricot and cut it.
  3. Cut apricots finely and cut almonds with skin finely.
  4. Then grind small cardamom with 1 tsp sugar.
  5. Then heat oil in karahi pan, fry all bread slices 2 at a time, when golden take it out, spread on paper so that oil absorbs.
  6. Now put evaporated milk, corn flour and small cardamom in frying pan, make thick caramel on low flame and add almond and apricot.
  7. When cool, put orange marmalade.
  8. Then spread milk mixture on fried bread, then spread almond & apricot caramel, put silver paper and serve.
