Chutney Roast Chicken by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Whole red chili 6
  • Whole green chilies 4
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Cashew nut grinded 8
  • Green cardamom 1/2 tsp
  • Cream 4 tbsp

For Chutney:

  • Coriander leaves 1 cup
  • Mint 1/2 cup
  • Green chilies 8
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. For chutney: Blend all ingredients.
  2. Wash chicken, mark cut and marinate it with chutney.
  3. Now put in pan and cook without oil and water on low flame.
  4. Now heat oil in separate pan, put onion, ginger garlic paste, whole red chili, whole green chili, yogurt, salt, chili powder, coriander powder and crushed black pepper and fry it.
  5. Then put cashew nut grinded, green cardamom and cooked chicken and cook for 15 minutes.
  6. Then take out in platter, put cream and serve with french fries.
