Kheer by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Rice 100 gm
  • Condensed milk 1 can
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Cardamom powder to taste

For Garnish:

  • Chopped plain pistachios 3-5
  • Chopped almonds 3-5

Method:

  1. Wash rice, take out from water and dry it.
  2. Boil milk, add rice and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Stir it continuously and cook until boil.
  4. Then low flame and check rice is soft.
  5. If rice is not soft, boil more for few minutes.
  6. Low flame, put cardamom powder and condensed milk and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Take out kheer in bowls and chill more.
  8. Before serving garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
