Eggless Pound Cake by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Flour 2-1/2 cups
- Corn flour 4 tbsp
- Sugar 3/4 cup
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Softened butter 100 gm
- Condensed milk 1/2 cup
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Milk 1/3 cup
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Baking soda 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 pinch
- Vanilla bean 1/4 (optional)
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar nicely.
- Now mix vanilla essence, condensed milk and yogurt.
- If using vanilla bean, also add it.
- Strain corn flour, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Now mix all dry ingredients in butter mixture slowly slowly and add little little milk.
- Put dry ingredients at start and end of mixing.
- This mixture will be some hard, do not over beat.
- Put mixture in greased pan and bake on 160 degrees for 40-15 minutes.
- Then take out from oven and cool for 10 minutes.
- Cut cake and serve hot with chocolate or caramel sauce.
