Ingredients:
For Sponge:
- Eggs 4
- Sugar 4 oz
- Baking powder 1 tsp
For Filling:
- Milk 1/2 cup
- Eggs 2
- Flour 1 tsp
- Caster sugar 3 oz
- Lemon juice 3 tbsp
- Gelatin powder 1 tbsp
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Water 1/4 cup
- Fresh cream whipped 4 oz
Method:
- For sponge: Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.
- Now put flour and baking powder and fold little little.
- Then put in 8 inch baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.
- For filling: Put milk, egg yolks, flour and caster sugar and cook until thick.
- Now cool it.
- Now dissolve gelatin powder in water and mix lemon juice.
- Then put in custard and mix it.
- Now beat egg whites. Beat cream.
- Now cool cream and fold in custard.
- For assemble: First keep cake base on spring pan.
- Put filling and keep second cake.
- Then keep in freezer for 30 minutes.
- Now again put remaining filling on cake and keep in freeze for more set.
- In end, garnish with fresh cream and lemon and serve.
