Eggless Cookie by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Flour 2-1/2 cup
- Vanilla custard powder 1/2 cup
- Icing sugar 1/2 cup
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Unsalted butter 1 cup
- Milk or Water 2-3 tbsp
Method:
- Beat butter and icing sugar till smooth and creamy.
- Now sift in flour and custard powder and mix gently.
- Make smooth dough.
- If required you may add 1-2 tbsp of milk.
- Do not knead dough too much, else cookies with turn hard.
- Pinch small ball sized dough and make it into smooth round ball.
- Take sugar in plate and roll cookies dough in it so sugar sticks on all sides.
- Place on baking sheet and press it gently with fork to form marks.
- Bake at 180 degrees C for 10-12 minutes or until cookies turn slightly golden in edges.
- Once baked, cool them on wire rack.
- Cookies will look soft when hot, but will be crispy once they cool down.
- So do not over bake.
