					Ingredients:
- Split orange gram 1-1/2 cup
 
- Lauki 1-1/2 kg
 
- Tamarind pulp 1 cup
 
- Oil 1 cup
 
- Finely chopped tomatoes 3
 
- Whole green chilies 5
 
- Curry leaves few
 
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
 
- Roasted cinnamon 1 tsp
 
- Crushed red chilies 1 tbsp
 
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
 
- Salt to taste
 
Method:
- Wash orange gram with lukewarm water and boil it.
 
- When daal tender, grind in blender.
 
- Now heat oil lightly in pot, put ginger garlic paste, turmeric and crushed red chilies and roast it.
 
- Then add finely chopped tomatoes.
 
- When water of tomatoes dries, put lauki and whole green chilies.
 
- Then add daal and some water and tender lauki.
 
- When lauki tender, put curry leaves and tamarind pulp.
 
- After 5 minutes, add roasted cinnamon and simmer it on low flame.
 
- Lauki ka daalcha is ready.
