Ingredients:

  • Sela rice 300 gm
  • Chicken with bone 500 gm
  • Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
  • Chopped tomatoes 2
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Olives 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Pickled peppers 5-6
  • Olive oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Melon seeds for garnish

Method:

  1. Wash rice nicely and clean it.
  2. Now soak it in water for 2-3 hours.
  3. Boil rice hard, strain it and keep it aside.
  4. Now put oil in pan and heat it.
  5. Then put chopped garlic and chopped onions and fry it.
  6. Now add chicken with bone, fry it, add chopped tomatoes and roast it.
  7. Now add black pepper, pickled peppers and salt, add water as required and cook until chicken tender.
  8. Now add rice, olives and lemon juice, mix it and simmer it.
  9. When rice is ready, dish out, garnish with melon seeds and serve.
