Ingredients:

  • Butter 8 oz
  • Ghee 4 oz
  • Caster sugar 16 oz
  • Eggs 6
  • Semolina 16 oz
  • Flour 4 oz
  • Baking powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Green cardamom 1 tsp
  • Saffron essence 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds and pistachios 1/2 cup
  • Poppy seeds 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Beat butter with ghee and caster sugar.
  2. Now put eggs one by one and beat it.
  3. Then put flour and milk and beat it.
  4. Then add green cardamom, mix it and keep it aside.
  5. Sprinkle almonds, pistachios and poppy seeds.
  6. Now bake in greased pan for 40-45 minutes, cool it, cut into squares and serve.
