Yogurt Chicken by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1-1/2 cup
  • Crushed red pepper 1-1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Wooster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum 2
  • Onion 2
  • Tomato 2
  • Green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, crushed red pepper, salt, ginger garlic paste, soya sauce and wooster sauce for 2 hours.
  2. Heat oil, put marinated chicken and cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
  3. If required, add 1/2 cup water, cover it and cook until tender.
  4. Heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan, put capsicum cubes, onion cubes and tomato cubes and fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Before removing from stove, add chicken.
  6. In end, garnish with all spice, green chilies and coriander leaves and serve.
