Ingredients:

  • Plain flour 250 gm
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Yeast 1 tsp
  • Milk powder 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Warm water for binding
  • Chocolate spread 1/2 cup
  • Egg 1

Method:

  1. Sift flour and add salt, sugar, milk powder, yeast and oil in large mixing bowl.
  2. Add water to make stiff dough.
  3. Shape dough into ball and leave to set for 1 hour.
  4. On lightly floured surface, roll dough in rectangular shape, apply chocolate spread 1/2 inch border on sides.
  5. Roll tightly and place on baking sheet.
  6. Cut dough down middles with knife, leaving one end intact.
  7. Twist ends over top each other, making sure to turn cut side toward top.
  8. Cover dough loosely in cling and let it set for 20 minutes.
  9. Egg wash it and bake on 180 degrees C for about 15 minutes.
