Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Onion 1 large
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Roasted gram 2 tbsp
  • Almonds 8-10
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp

For Salan:

  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 3/4 cup

Method:

  1. For koftay: Put all ingredients in chopper and grind finely.
  2. Now add some water, make balls and keep it aside.
  3. For salan: Heat oil, put onion and ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes nicely.
  4. Now add salt, chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, all spice and yogurt and fry it nicely.
  5. Now put koftay and cook until it set.
  6. For gravy: Put 1 cup water and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. In end, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
