Brownie Flan by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Butter 4 oz
- Caster sugar 2 oz
- Flour 8 oz
- Egg yolk 1
- Chilled water as required
For Brownie:
- Butter 6 oz
- Chocolate 200 gm
- Eggs 3
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Flour 1 cup
- Chocolate chip 1 cup
- Sugar 1-1/4 cup
Method:
- For base: Beat butter and caster sugar.
- Now put flour and mix it until it comes in shape of crumbs.
- Then knead with chilled water until dough shape comes.
- Now spread in 8 inch pie plate, mark cuts with fork and bake in preheated oven on 180 degrees C.
- For brownie: Put chocolate and butter in sauce pan and cook until both melts.
- Now put in bowl, put sugar and beat it.
- Then add eggs 1 by 1 and beat it.
- Now fold vanilla essence, salt and flour and mix chocolate chips.
- Now fold mixture on base and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Then set in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
- Then cool it and dust with icing sugar.
- Then cut it and serve.
