Cookies N Cream Ice Cream by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

• Cream 2 cups
• Milk 1 cup
• Sugar 2/3 cup
• Vanilla essence 1 tsp
• Chocolate sandwich cookies 20

Method:

1. Combine cream, milk, sugar and vanilla in saucepan and heat until sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Pour into bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
3. Chill in refrigerator until completely cool.
4. Place chocolate sandwich cookies into plastic bag.
5. Using rolling pin, break up cookies being sure to leave some large pieces.
6. Store cookies in freezer.
7. Pour ice cream in an air-tight container and let freeze till firm.
8. When ice cream is nearly finished freezing, mix  frozen cookie pieces thoroughly.
9. Freeze again and then serve.
