Lauki chane ki daal

Ingredients:

  • Chickpea (split) 2 cup
  • red chilli pwd 1-1/2 tbsp
  • turmeric 1 tbsp
  • salt 1 tbsp
  • whole khatai 2 pcs
  • green chilli 4-5 pcs
  • mint leaves 2 tbsp

For baghar:

  • Oil 1-1/2 cup
  • onion 1
  • cumin 1 tbsp
  • calabash 1-1/2 kg

Method:

  1. Boil the chickpea lentil and add in salt , turmeric, green chillies and khatai , when its cooked mash it.
  2. Add the baghar of green chillies and mint.
For the baghar:
  •  In hot oil add in onions, cumin,calabash then add this into the lentil.
  • lauki chane ki daal is ready

Baghre Hue chawal 


Ingredients:

  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • whole mix spice 1 tbsp
  • onion 1 pcs
  • salt 1 tbsp
  • rice 2 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil and add garam masala , onions and fry a bit then add in salt and the rice.
  2. Now add in 2 glasses of water and leave it to cok
  3. Once ready pour lauki chane ki daal on top and serve.

Lentil soup

Ingredients:

  • Red lentil (masoor) 1 -1/2 cup
  • carrot 1 
  • potato 1 
  • red chili pwd 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • white pepper 1/4 tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • garlic 2 cloves
  • chicken stalk 4 cup
  • Bread 4 slices 

method:

  1. In a pot add, red lentil, carrots, potatoes ,4 glasses of water and cool well
  2. In another pot fry garlic then add in mashed lentil and chicken stalk
  3. Also add red chilli, turmeric, white pepper and salt
  4. Cut bread in squares and fry in oil
  5. serve with lentil soup
