Malai Kofta

Ingredients:

For the kofta:
  • Potato 1/2 kg
  • cottage cheese 100 gm
  • green chilli 2-3 pcs
  • corn flour 2-3 tbsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • raisin 2 tbsp
  • oil for frying
For the curry:

  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • onion paste 1/2 cup 
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • coriander p2d 1 tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • red chili pwd 1-1/2 tsp
  • mix spice pwd 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste 
  • tomato paste 1/2 kg
  • cream 4-5 tbsp
  • coriander for garnish
  • ginger for garnish

Method

  1. In boiled potatoes add,cottage cheese,green chillies corn flour,salt,raisins and mix.
  2. Now make koftas out of the mixture and fry in hot oil
  3. In a pot heat oil add onions,ginger garlic paste,coriander pwd,turmeric, red chilli powder,mix spice pwd, turmeric,and cook well.
  4. When it leaves oil add in tomato paste and cook a little more.
  5. Lower the flame and add in the cream and fried koftas and keep it on dam (cook on low flame)
  6. After 5 minutes add in crushed ginger and coriander and turn the stove off.
  7. Milai koftas are ready
