Handi Murgh Tikka by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Onion 1 cup
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Orange color 1 pinch
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/4 cup
  • Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4

Method:

  1. Blend onion with 1/4 cup water, ginger garlic paste, all spice, salt, chili powder, orange color and lemon juice and marinate chicken with this paste.
  2. Now add crushed red pepper and whipped yogurt in chicken.
  3. Heat oil in handi, put chicken with masalay, cover it and cook on low flame.
  4. When tender and oil comes up, give smoke of coal.
  5. In end, garnish with fresh coriander and green chilies and serve with naan or parathay.
