Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Bhindi 1/2 kg
  • Onions 2
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste 1 cup
  • Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  • Coconut 1 small piece
  • Green chilies 4
  • Peanuts 10
  • Curry leaves few
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 cup

Method:

  1. Put mutton, onions, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, oil and 2 cups hot water in pot and cook it.
  2. Then put oil, coriander seeds, white cumin, peanuts, coconut and poppy seeds on tawa, roast it lightly and grind it.
  3. When water of meat dries, put bhindi, roasted & grinded masala, curry leaves, green chilies and tamarind paste and cook on low flame.
  4. When oil comes up and simmer it for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Serve bhindi ki kadhi with hot plain rice.
