Crispy creamy donuts

Ingredients:

  • Yeast 7 gm
  • water 2 tbsp
  • milk 200 ml
  • butter 40 gm
  • caster sugar 55 gm
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • egg 1-1/2 pcs
  • flour 300 gm
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Icing sugar 325 gm
  • vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • evporated milk 6-9 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix the yeast in water and leave it for 5 minutes
  2. Add butter in the milks and heat it up until the butter melts
  3. In a mixing bowl add yeast. milk, butter, caster sugar ,salt, eggs,and 1/4 cup flour and mix well.
  4. Cover the dough with plastic and leave it for 30-60 minutes.
  5. When the dough doubles in size sprinkle on dry flour and kneed
  6. Now flatten the dough and using a doughnut cutter cut the doughnuts.
  7. Place the doughnuts in a greased pan and leave them to rise again for half an hour
  8. On a medium flame heat up oil and fry the doughnuts for one minute
  9. Once they are cooled glaze them and serve.
