Tamatar Gosht

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 500 gm
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tasp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • water 3 cup

For masala

  • oil 4 tbsp
  • onion 1 pcs
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • fenugreek 1/4 tsp
  • mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  • curry leaves 6-7 pcs
  • seasame seeds 1 tsp
  • peanuts 2 tbsp
  • coco pwd 1 tbsp
  • whole chili 6-7 pcs
  • tomato 5 pcs
  • tamarind pulp 1-2 tbsp
  • whole green chili 2-3 pcs
  • coriander 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Cook the meat and add ginger garlic paste , turmeric and salt.Cook till the meat is well done and the water evaporates.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and roast all of the spices (masalas)
  3. Add tomatoes, green chilies, coriander and make a smooth paste.
  4. Now add the meat in the roasted spices and cook for a couple of minutes.Next add in the paste you have made.Add in the cut tomatoes and let it cook for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes get soft.
  5. Once its ready serve while hot.
