Popcorn Prawns by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Prawns 250 gm
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Paprika 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard powder 1/2 tsp

For Batter:

  • Self raising flour 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Milk as required
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Self raising flour 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate prawns with salt, paprika, black pepper and mustard powder for 30 minutes.
  2. Then make batter of 1/2 cup self raising flour, egg, milk, salt and oil.
  3. Now dip prawns in self raising flour, deep fry for 8 minutes and serve.
