Falafel

Ingredients:


  • Chickpeas 250 grms
  • garlic 4 tbsp
  • coriander 1/2 cup
  • green chilies 5-6 pcs
  • red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • baking powder 1/8 tsp
  • flour 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • crushed black pepper 1 tbsp
  • oil for frying 

Method:

  1.  Soak the chickpeas over night and prepare the paste in a chopper.
  2. Grind green chilies and coriander, prepare a paste next add this into the chickpeas paste.
  3. Then add salt, red chili powder, baking powder , crushed black pepper,flour, garlic and mix well.
  4. Now make pakoras out of the prepared mixture.
  5. Then fry on a medium flame hot oil till golden.

Baba Gnoush

Ingredients:

  • egg plant 250 gms
  • lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • garlic 1 tbsp
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • tahini paste 3 tbsp
  • mint for garnish

Tahini sauce:

Ingredients:

  • Sesame seeds 1 cup
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat a clean, dry skillet over medium high heat and add the sesame seeds. ...
  2. Once they're toasted, let them cool a few minutes then add them to a food processor.
  3. Start by adding olive oil
  4. tahini sauce is ready.
