Ingredients:
- Green chilies 1/2 kg
- Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
- Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
- Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
- Coconut 1
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Onion paste 3
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Onion seeds 1 tsp
- Tamarind pulp 1 cup
For Bhagar:
- Red chili 6
- Curry leaves few
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Fenugreek few
- Tamarind pulp 1 cup
- Oil 1 cup
Method:
- Roast coriander seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, cumin seeds and coconut on tawa or frying pan and grind it.
- Wash green chilies nicely and keep it in strainer so that water dries.
- Now heat oil in pot, mix green chilies with some salt and fry it lightly.
- Then take out fried green chilies, put red chili, fenugreek, curry leaves and cumin seeds and fry it.
- Now add onion paste and fry until light pink.
- Then put turmeric, ginger garlic paste, roasted masalay, chilies, salt, curry leaves, tamarind pulp and onion seeds and simmer it on low flame.
- When oil comes up, mirchon ka salan is ready.
