Ingredients:

  • Green gram 1 cup
  • Red kidney beans 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Tomato 1
  • Onion 1
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Soak green gram overnight in mixing bowl.
  2. Soak red kidney beans with soda overnight in mixing bowl.
  3. Now put water as required with kidney beans, green gram, salt, chili powder and ginger paste in pot and cook until lentil tender.
  4. Heat butter in pot, add cumin seeds and crackle it.
  5. Then add onion and fry until brown.
  6. Now add garlic paste and tomato and roast until masalay separates.
  7. Now add lentil and beans and mix it.
  8. Then add all spice powder and cook on low flame.
  9. Now add cream, mix it and take out in dish.
  10. In end, serve with naan or parathay.
