Creamy Brownies by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Flour 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Chocolate hazelnut spread 1 cup
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Melted unsalted butter 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Line bottom of 8 inch square cake pan with parchment paper, letting paper extend over two opposite sides.
  2. Butter two other sides.
  3. Combine flour and salt in bowl and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, beat eggs, chocolate hazelnut spread, brown sugar and vanilla essence until smooth.
  5. Add flour mixture, alternating with melted butter.
  6. Scrape batter into cake pan.
  7. Bake at 170 degrees C or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with few crumbs attached (not completely clean), 35 to 40 minutes.
  8. Cool in pan for about 2 hours.
  9. Unmold and cut into squares.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature.
