Ingredients:

For Dough:

  • Flour 2 cups
  • Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee 4 tbsp
  • Water to knead

For Filling:

  • Boiled potatoes 2
  • Green chilies 2
  • Onion 1
  • Sliced onion 1
  • Pomegranate seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chilies 2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Mint leaves 2 tbsp
  • Green coriander 2 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Knead flour, carom seeds, cumin, salt and ghee hard with water.
  2. For filling:
  3. Put potatoes, cumin, red chilies, salt, whole coriander, green chilies, onion, mint leaves, green coriander and pomegranate seeds in bowl and mix it nicely.
  4. Now heat 4 tbsp oil in fry pan and fry sliced onion until brown.
  5. Then put potato mixture, roast for 2 minutes and take it out in bowl.
  6. Then make portions of knead flour, make round roti and cut from center.
  7. Now fill with potato filling, join with water, make samosay, keep in airtight box and freeze it.
