Ingredients:
- Mutton 750 gm
- Brown onion 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1-1/2 tbsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Yellow color 1/4 tsp
- Kewra 1 tbsp
- Rice 750 gm boiled
- Salt 3 tbsp
- Prepared biryani masala 3-4 tbsp
Method:
- Heat oil, put ginger garlic paste, brown onion and mutton and leave for 10 minutes.
- Now add yogurt with biryani masala, cover it and leave for 10 minutes.
- Then add 3 tbsp salt, chili powder with 1-1/2 cup water, cover it and cook for 20 minutes until meat tender and gravy remains.
- For assemble: Put 1/4 cup oil and water in pan.
- Now put half 375 gm rice on meat mixture.
- Then mix remaining rice, brown onion and yellow color in kewra, add it, cover it and cook on high flame for 5 minutes.
- Now low flame and simmer it for 15 minutes.
