Eid Meat Loaf by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Mutton or Beef mince (very fine) 1/2 kg
- Fine breadcrumbs 3/4 cup
- BBQ sauce 2 tbsp
- Chopped onion 1
- Crushed garlic 2 cloves
- Chopped celery (stalk and leaves) 1/2 cup
- Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
- Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
- Mustard paste 1/2 tbsp
- Egg 1
- Brown sugar 1 tsp
- Olive oil 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Hard-boiled egg (sliced) 1 for garnish
Method:
- Heat oil, saute onions and garlic.
- Add celery, pepper, salt and sugar.
- Cook on high heat for a minute.
- Put in bowl and let cool.
- Add to mince the cooked and cooled celery-onion mixture, beaten egg and breadcrumbs.
- Combine BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce and mustard paste.
- Place in greased loaf pan.
- Bake at 180 degrees C in a preheated oven for 20 minutes or till it is done.
- Overcooking will make it dense.
- Slice when cool, serve with veggies or sliced in sandwich.
